Set in the rugged unspoilt Strath of Kildonan in Sutherland, Birchwood Lodge overlooks the private reaches of the Helmsdale river, world famous for its salmon fishing. Jeanetta and her daugher Caroline, started renovations in 2000 - an ongoing project. The house has since been featured in a number of magazines including House & Garden, Homes & Interiors, Scottish Field and Country Homes & Interiors.
